End User Licence Agreement

For as long as your account is in good standing, Horizon International LLC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the software, in object form, to operate the checkout of the stores registered on your account.

The licence includes the right to install the storefront script on themes of stores you control, and to let your staff and contractors use the dashboard on your behalf — you stay responsible for what they do with it.

You may not:

• copy, resell, sublicense or host the software for third parties as your own product;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source, except where that right cannot be excluded by law;
• remove or alter notices, or disguise the origin of the software;
• use the software to build a competing checkout product, or to benchmark it for publication without telling us first;
• run automated requests against it beyond normal use, or attempt to bypass limits, authentication or billing.

The software, its design and everything we build stays ours. Your store data, your customer data, your branding and the configuration you create stay yours — using our software does not give us any claim to them.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the product without owing you anything for it. That is the only thing you give us.

The script we install on your theme exists to route buyers to your checkout and to read what the cart contains. It is yours to remove at any time, from the dashboard or by hand — remove it and your store’s original checkout returns immediately.

We update the software continuously, and updates are part of the licence. We may change or remove features; where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in advance through the product or by email.

The software works alongside services you contract yourself — your store platform and your payments provider — and includes open-source components licensed by their authors. Nothing in this licence changes your agreements with them, or theirs with you.

The software is licensed “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Our liability under this licence is limited as described in the Terms of Service: no liability for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or indirect damages, and a total cap equal to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

The licence ends when your account ends, or immediately if you breach it. On termination you stop using the software and remove the script from your themes. Sections about ownership, warranties and liability survive.
